The Executive Search Process

A typical search takes approximately 90 days. Our process starts with defining the search and creating a strategy within our office. We will talk with you, the client, to define the need, develop the specifications for the position and learn about your company and culture. We will then plan our strategy and begin the research.

Our team will then begin to identify candidates and evaluate them. This includes the first round of interviews. We will then refine the specifications for the position and continue our research.

Stonemill will then have a meeting to review the progress of the search and to evaluate the results of the candidate interviews. We will re-strategize if necessary and fine-tune the specifications to continue with interviews.

At this point, finalists will be selected and reference checks completed. We will work with you to negotiate the compensation and to extend the offer.

Lastly, we will monitor the acceptance of the offer, the resignation and the start of employment. After the candidate has started, we will follow up with you and the candidate.
