Search Options
The majority of our clients find that each need within their company requires a unique solution. We offer our clients a choice of three search options. We customize your search to reflect the unique staffing needs, time constraints and culture of your organization. Our detailed discussions regarding your current and future needs will allow us to best determine the search option that will help you accomplish your goals.
The following are the three search options that we offer:
Retained Search
This option offers the most complete set of services and is used at all levels of an organization when there is a critical need that must be filled within a specific period of time.
- We commit a professional executive recruiter and project coordinator to your search until it is completed.
- A minimum of two to three candidates who meet or exceed your requirements are presented to you within an agreed time frame.
- You are given the first right of refusal on candidates. Candidates will not be presented to competing companies until you have determined that there is no interest in pursuing the candidate.
- Our service fee is paid in three installments:
- The first installment is paid upon execution of the agreement to bind the commitment.
- The second installment is paid at the time the short list of candidates is interviewed.
- The final installment is paid when the candidate is hired.
- We offer a replacement guarantee of ninety (90) days with this type of search.
Engaged Search
An engaged search is used for positions which must be filled in a timely manner, and/or for multiple positions which require thorough, ongoing professional representation in the marketplace.
- Your professional executive recruiter and project coordinator devote the majority of their time to filling your position.
- Our service fee is paid in two installments:
- One-third of the fee is required upon execution of the agreement.
- The remaining balance is due when the candidate is hired.
- We offer a replacement guarantee of sixty (60) days with this type of search.
Contingency Search
A Contingent Search is best used when there is less urgency to the search and the need to fill the position is less critical. As our client, you do not commit to any payment until a placement is made.
- No financial commitment is required to initiate the contingency search process.
- The client agrees to use Stonemill Partners on an exclusive basis to fill the position.
- Our service fee is due at the time the candidate starts employment.
- We offer a replacement guarantee of thirty (30) days with this type of search.
